Ascension co-founder Jewels marks his new path with sonic cut ‘Lua’ featuring vocals from Botswana based singer-songwriter Kali Mija.

Continuing his steps after debut album ‘Labyrinth’ (with LE YORA crew members Somma, Yuma & Magnus), Jewels demonstrates his ability to caress the human spirit utilizing an emotive piano riff that sits atop a sublime bass. A spinetingling synth merges with swift percussion to arrive at a gentle yet energetic peak while Kali’s vocals speak with elation.

LE YORA & Ascension co-founder Jewels returns to the label with club-orientated piece ‘Another World’.

Jewels, a consummate artist, expresses what the phrase ‘less is more’ means. This cut is driven by an alluring male vocal that calls out for a response, that being in the form of a hypnotic synth riff, while a groovy bassline glides the track forward in a sombre undertone. Haunting atmospheres collide with organic drums to create a compelling invitation onto the dance floor.

His upcoming catalogue of unreleased music has been circulating around the world, being played by the worlds biggest tastemakers including Adriatique, Black Coffee, Keinemusik, and many more.

His need for absolute creative control combined with the resolute commitment of constantly creating music has lead to the inception of ‘LE YORA’, a DJ / Producer collective, but with modern flair… It’s multi-platform creative endeavor that allows for continuous unbounded experimentation within the parameters of music, graphic art, luxury fashion, streetwear, and events.
