Welcome to the page of Jex Rastafari,(Alexander D. Robinson), a conscious lyrical revolutionary hip hop artist. Jex was born in the state of New Jersey on April, 8 1989. 

If you are looking for music that challenges the status quo, inspires social change, and showcases lyrical skills, you have come to the right place. My music is influenced by some of the greatest conscious rappers of all time, such as Kendrick Lamar, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Immortal Technique. I rap about the issues that matter to me and my community, such as police brutality, income inequality, racism, and mass incarceration. I also rap about my personal struggles and triumphs, hoping to connect with my listeners on a deeper level.

I have opened up for such artist as Sean Price, RA The Rugged Man, Jedi Mind Tricks, Helter Skelter, and Immortal technique. And I have worked with Wes Nihle (Razorblade Handgranade), Judgment (Society of invisible), Kod (Syzygy), And Bean Uno. I was apart of several different groups including Street Soldierz, Sucide Watch, Keitcheo's Peacho's, Destroyed Under God (DUG), and Syzygy. 

My goal is to use my music as a tool for education, empowerment, and enlightenment. I believe that hip hop is not just a genre, but a culture and a movement. I want to be part of the movement that makes a positive difference in the world.
