After multiple plays by Carola & Yousef, the circus recordings head reached a swift agreement with Richie Hawtin to release the impressive 2016 version without delay. 
The dance floor reactions both Marco and Yousef have had from the Mihalis remix have been phenomenal.
It's simply a banger... 
And the first time Yousef, Mihalis Safras, Marco Carola & Richie Hawtin have collaborated and contributed to a project together.

 Revolutionary DJ and producer Matador presents his exciting debut release for Hot Creations Wildside this July. It features two contrasting tracks that stay true to the ethos of the label synonymous with White Isle hedonism.

Wildside opens with spirited percussion of shakers and snare rolls, reverberating into a fuzzy and infectious bassline groove. The playful sample is looped over crazy effects and bright keys, before dropping into a final crescendo that will have feet stomping in unison. Sweet Release retains a classic deep house sound with dreamy chords and lush synth. The track develops with warm sub-bass, piano, arpeggiation and soulful vocals, resulting in a summertime anthem.

Matador has made his mark on the electronic music world since the very beginning, producing a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, becoming a brand ambassador for MODEL 1 and featuring in Resident Advisor’s ‘Top 20 Live Acts’ for three years in the early part of his career. In 2016 he launched his label RUKUS, releasing music from emerging and established artists alike. Spanning genres and formats he has made music for Sky TV and British Airways, his vinyl-only series Cyclone is firmly rooted in techno, whilst the stream only album Tuesday presents an exquisite take on ambient. His collaboration with Zurich’s Tonhalle Orchestra again highlighted his dexterity as a truly authentic musician. 2020 sees the launch of Matador’s podcast series focusing on studio gear and featuring interviews with touring artists. His new live performance ‘Live 2.0’ is also forthcoming and will feature hotly anticipated new music.

Darius Syrossian makes a triumphant return to the label that helped establish him with two of his timeless house tracks plus a remix from Alex Ranerro.

UK veteran Syrossian now heads up his own label Moxy Muzik, but in earlier years was a VIVa Music mainstay. He has also released on the likes of Hot Creations, Moon Harbour, Robsoul and Defected, but wherever he lands you can be sure that his house music has no fads or frills, just straight up sweaty grooves. From deep to vocal to jacking, this maestro can do it all, and is just as versatile and vital in the DJ booth.

He kicks off here with 'Planet Jazz' which has freaky vocal sounds panning about over big, impactful kicks. Once things get going, the bass brings real depth while curious guitar riffs and frazzled synths add club ready energy. Brilliant second offering 'The Renegade' is a chunky house cut with a warped bassline that twists and turns beneath icy hi-hats. It's a real set building tune that is filled with tension, promise and real machine soul. Last of all is an irresistible remix of 'The Renegade' by Alex Ranerro, a Slovenia based DJ, producer and SolvdMag co-owner. His excellent track is a smooth and seductive house kicker, with smeared pads and kinetic drum programming that has perfect bounce.

Precision kicks, pitter-patter effects and an escalating melody are joined by a spoken word sample in the bouncy ‘SMML’, before moving into ‘turboshandy’ with its springy bassline, lively synth stabs and heady pitched up vox. Tying things together, ‘heavy bad yin’ is a rumbling cut that powers onwards courtesy of robust drums, swinging hats and a squelchy acid lead.

Based in Leeds, Jey Kurmis has an individual sound that he has established through several EPs on some of the most acclaimed labels worldwide. With a distinct dark heavy bass line and edgy vocals that set his tracks apart. Jey has played the likes of DC-10, The Warehouse Project, WMC, Sonar, BPM and many more. 

After his artists defining first EP on Hot Creations, Jey has continued his portfolio with a wealth of releases on Moon Harbour and several more EP’s signed to Hot Creations with others throughout the years on more niche labels such as Kaluki, Leftroom, Material and many more. Jey has set a precedent for himself continually bringing out a sound unlike any other. 

With the support and backing from some of the biggest names in the industry including Jamie Jones, Adam Beyer, Matthias Tanzmann, Patrick Topping, Solardo and many more, Jey has returned to the studio and with several EP’s already in the pipleline, this is set to be a defyning time for his talent.
