This is our 49th Edition of the COLOURS Guest Mix Series, the goal of this series is to show off friends of Pastel across a wide variety of genres, nothing is off limits, such as the many colors of the spectrum.

We are here with another COLOURS guest mix for our already STACKED week! This week we have one of our good friends, REYDIUM ! He's a DJ from Washington also along with the LGCY Media Family! <3 

This mix represents him in his ELEMENT, mixing the genre that fire got him into DJ'ing, Progressive House! He believes progressive house helps illustrate the notion of "living in the moment". Lastly, he states the greatest inspiration for this mix was his big brother!

"I'm an aspiring producer and DJ based out of Renton, WA. I've been heavily inspired by the legendary works of Avicii, Kygo, San Holo, and Petit Biscuit, I've set out to find my own world of music and sounds that are reminiscent of the artists I love with my own spin, take, and style. My style consists of Future Bass and all forms of House.  

Fun Fact: I've picked up DJing about a month before my first ever show performance. I didn't think it would be a skill I picked up since I was mainly focused on producing. However, I'm glad I was able to dive into this world of spinning music for people.

This mix aims to capture the airy, upbeat, melodic, and hard hitting aspects of Future Bass and Trap. My main influences for this mix were Jai Wolf, DJ Soda, Petit Biscuit, and Louis The Child. I wanted to convey a mix that covers a lot of ground of beautiful music."

"gük" means "soup" in Korean and so taking a cue from the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book series, I've decided to craft several mixes to follow different themes.

This mix is an extended & cleaned up version of a set I played for the Asian Creative Network (ACN) Los Angeles mixer back in December 2018. It's a dedication & tribute to Asian artists & influences in today's music in a collection sang, written, and/or produced by Asian artists. Along with these songs are also tracks I felt transitioned really well to bridge the gaps between genres or fit the vibe to reflect the Asian-American spirit (obviously Porter is an honorary Asian xD).
