One of the first songs I ever wrote - age 18 sat on a campsite by a river in Amsterdam. I was... happy. Just wishing for someone special to share it with.

Recorded decades later but still exactly the same, this was written, recorded and arranged by Jez Lawrence.

This is a low quality bash-out-a-take recording - oh, and that bit towards the end you can't understand? Black Speech of Mordor. With apologies to the Nazghul for my pronunciation.

Purveyor of Prog-folk with a mostly fantasy flavour. 

The collection of tracks you'll find here are a sample of the range of songs I've written on various subjects over the years reflecting on my experiences - both real and very often imagined, since I have a love of roleplaying games both tabletop and live action! 

So I don't know how to define what I do, its extraordinarily niche. The closest I can get is "prog folk" - so that'll have to do for now.

Nothing is for sale: listen for free as much as you can stand - it's not like I was ever going to make a living with this anyway!
