While working on completing my second album, I needed a break - and so did Miko. While he was asleep, I created a new track to which he happily added the ethereal sounds of his magic violin. 

Actually I think this is going to be a track on and for my 3rd Album which will probably be released in 2016 or 2017. :D

Enjoy this journey across a warm October afternoon and into the night, when Orion starts to dominate the sky. Through wild clouds with myriads of tiny frozen crystals, down to the frost covered morning ground - bubbles under the thin layers of ice. This EP offers melancholic ambience along with strong glitchy grooves, harmonizing with your fall moods and feelings of this time of year.

[ Ephemeris ] is a deep sonic ground swell, an album of contrasts, 10 tracks structured upon subterranean bass lines, transversal and luminous pads, crisp, crunchy beats. A mesmerizing ensemble of fresh atmospheres and intense, forward driving melodies.

The inspiration for the album title comes from the artists Vincent Villuis and Magnus Birgersson's collaboration process, determined by the patterns of encounter in time and space, the alignment of creative moods and coordination of life's innate forces.

A deep floating compilation embodying the works of pioneers in the exploration of a new wave of electro ambient music. Oxycanta is an expression of spatial density with the constant presence of our natural environment at times in its organic recorded form, others transduced into atmospheric textures by advanced technologies. Its title derives from Crataegus Oxyacantha, commonly known as the Hawthorn, a tree whose leaves and berries are legendary for their heart-healing properties. 

Compiled and mixed by Mahiane, aka Sunbeam, co-manager of Ultimae, label artist and deejay, Oxycanta presents various compositions gliding into each other with intangible obbligato.
