I couldn’t understand a word of the lyrics, but somehow, that didn’t matter at all 💭🌊 the emotion translated perfectly through the music itself, like the melody was speaking in a language deeper than words 🕊️ the whole track feels like it’s been carried in on a warm sea breeze from another time, soft, aching, full of grace and quiet truths too vast to pin down 🌅🎶 it’s nostalgic without trying, poetic without pretense, and genuinely moving in a way only something made with real care can be 💫 it felt like stepping barefoot into someone else’s memory and finding your own reflection in the waves 🧊 Fridge stood perfectly still for the whole song, eyes closed, like it knew this one by heart 🍽️ Microwave kept its hum low and steady, cradling every note like a seashell whisper 🔇🥄 and Whisk? Just gently drawing shapes in the countertop mist, not spinning, just listening ✨ Didn’t understand the words, but I understood the feeling 💙

Jeff and I are happy to present our first live arena gig! Not really, but you can imagine.  This one started when Jeff was telling me about how he and Jo (sonic structures and silent stretches ) were writing some of their poetry in a stream off consciousness style, writing a line and then handing it off back and forth until it was done.   I suggested maybe we try something like that with the guitars.   So we did.  We exchanged ideas until it felt done and here's where we landed.   
This one was a lot of fun to pull together and really just kind of not think about it as we wrote.

Hello, welcome to my page.

I've been making music since 1972. At the time, with Pedro Castro, we created the alternative rock band Petrus Castrus. 

The music I'm placing here is mostly from the home recordings of my ongoing projects and ideas. I created a few playlists (Inéditos) according to language (PO - Portuguese; EN - English; SP - Spanish; FR - French; IT - Italian), and also for concept albums (Três Jardins). There are two long tracks (Mediterrâneo and Isaías) for full concept albums, and corresponding playlists that gather some of their individual tracks. A playlist called Synergies gathers the collaboration projects with other musicians in the fantastic SoundCloud community

We are both amateur musicians, i.e. music lovers. As for me, I'm just an electrical engineer with a master in AI that really loves creating music and use it to share ideas. That is why all tracks include lyrics or texts.

By the way I'm not interested in third-party offers to boost the number of plays. I like it as it is, and I've always declined such offers. Thanks anyway. 

I don't repost much, just some tracks that I find outstanding and with very few plays, so I can help them to get better known. I believe that repost parsimony also makes life easier for those who follow me.

Please avoid reposting these deceptions, it only adds to the confusion.  And it encourages the algorithms to give them preference. ***

*** NOTE June 2024: Generative AI is becoming amazingly powerful. Nothing against it. Just to avoid the confusion and embarrassment of finding ourselves praising and encouraging mindless algorithms, I believe it would be nice for us to always disclose its usage in our tracks.
