In 2015, 5 years after quitting music, J-Formz had a dream indicating a return. Still undecided, about a week after later, Nick Ballz hits up J-Formz out of the blue, suggesting they do a collaboration album together. Floored by the ironic coincidental timing of this phone call, Formz would go on to release two solo albums, Obligated (2016) as well as Not Much Left (2019) before One (with Nick Ballz) would finally come to fruition in late 2021. Distance, family obligations, and lack of studio equipment made this album a difficult one to make, but creatively and conceptually, this album is a story telling masterpiece through the past and present of J-Formz and Nick Ballz musical journey.
