Hours of arranging falling shapes of colorful blocks while having a tune so intriguing in the background pushing you to keep going, is what first captivated J Hacks attention to music and it became instantly love at first sound. Indeed, the game of Tetris was what drew him to the tunes and beats that ever since then travel through his body so effortlessly. Born on April 7, by the age of 7 his musical influence initially started developing with Hard House. Then, his likes followed Rap, Hip-Hop, Techno, and finally Electronic Dance Music. Bass is something that always pulls him like a magnet to a song. At age 18, eager to combine beats and experience the sudden transitions of them, he started his amateur career as a DJ. Using Virtual DJ, he was introduced to the world of loops and transitions. A few gigs here and there, made it possible for him to finally get his hands on the sensational Serato Scratch Live. He is never afraid of crossing music genres and experiment new things with them. He explained that, “music is a combination of endless thoughts transpiring from my hands onto the turntables, and that is an amazing feeling.” He couldn’t have said it better.
