Joe has been blessed with an unmistakable anointing on his life and musical gift. A native of Florence, South Carolina, Joe began playing the saxophone at age 11 (after trying his hand at the trombone at age 10), and has been playing for 37 years. He has also recorded with V&G Jazz Ensemble of Indianapolis, and is part of the music ministry at University United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.  In 2013 Joe formed his own band - Simply United (www.simplyunitedband.com). They have performed for both public and private events, and released their debut CD, "A Midnight Dream" in 2016, followed by their sophomore project, "Love Will Make A Way" in 2019.
