Liverpudlian DJ/Producer Basso debuts on rising UK imprint Más Vida Music with his 'Run' EP. 

Continuing its commitment to showcasing some of the best-emerging talents the underground scene has to offer, Más Vida Music welcomes Liverpool-based Basso with an impressive three-tracker kicking off with title track 'Run' filled with nostalgic 00s b-boy nods and heavy rolling analogue-laced grooves. 'Flow' continues the genre-influenced theme with an East Coast rap vocal driving the track through swinging drums and catchy melodies. 'Do It Baby' rounds off the release with dusty chugging rhythms, a more gritty analogue sound and an endless attitude from start to finish.

'Showcase A' delivers a refined collection of four stylish tracks, each crafted by a different artist, yet unified by their high-quality production and distinctiveness.

Opening with Fedo’s 'Tunisian Rex', it immediately strikes you with a sophisticated fusion of house and techno. The track’s smooth, polished sound is anchored by a key bassline, effortlessly guiding the listener through its very enjoyable flow. Following this, Andrey Djackonda & Ovil bring a lively energy with 'Lui Lui'. This song blends upbeat house vibes with playful jazz elements, creating an atmosphere of fun and positive spirit that’s impossible to resist. On the second side, Legit Trip’s 'Skripi Daddy' introduces a deeper, more minimal groove. The track’s busy tech rhythm is skillfully layered with just enough room to then include a melody to elevate it further. Hailing from Detroit, DJ and producer Tyke channels inspiration from his trips to the White Isle in his groove-driven productions, which sit between UKG and minimal and have taken him to Chicks Luv Us’ Encasa Records and Psicodelica. October sees Tyke join the Hottrax crew, serving up two house heaters across his ‘Rudeboi’ EP that showcase some magical synth work with serious dancefloor know-how.

"It feels surreal releasing this EP with my favorite label. I saw Jamie perform at Art Basel back in December and I left feeling so inspired. I knew exactly what direction I wanted to take my music in and wrote out my goals for 2024, number one being a release with Hottrax." - Tyke.

Bio:
Was born on February 15, 1994 in Yumbo, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
He´s a passionate for the music since he has use of reason, was born surrounded by different musical genres so it was a matter time for him to feel that he was running music through his veins.
At age 15 he discovers a special fascination for electronic music.
In 2012he debuted as Dj on local clubs an empirically in 2015 he started as producer, beginning to develop a musical style with local influences and inspired by Latin rhythms and sounds from genres such as reggae, Hip-Hop and Salsa (musical insign genre in his region).
At present, he is working for Labels such as: Hot Creations, Be One, 1994 Music, Techaway, Datagroove, Distance among others.
Musically, he considers himself “Joy”. He´s attracted towards the genres: Dub, House, Deep-House, Tech-House and Minimal/DeepTech; is characterized for its has own style and defined with high vocal content in most of his tracks.
With an important sound evolution, in 2018 he decided to create his own label : Sticker Music, A platform to express different range of sounds, as well the productions of established and emerging artists, and focused primarily on the dance floor submerged between sounds close to minimal, techno-house with it´s different and more evolved aspects that in a short time of having started already counts on the support of big platforms and stores such as Beatport and Traxsurce  and has been played by big artists.
The growing appetite for the studio and his desire for musical innovation makes to foresee big moments for Jholeyson, just keep your eyes and ears open.
The best is yet to come.
