La Columna de Fuego was born as a  supergroup from some of the best bands of the underground colombian scene (Los Beatniks, Los Flipper's, Siglo Cero, etc..).

Dig their ASTONISHING performance of this insane tune as the backing band of the colombian diva "Leonor Gonzáles Mina" on Germany during the summer of 1973. Amazing footage!:

"La Joricamba" also known as "a la mina no voy" is a traditional dance from the pacific coast of Colombia based on a legend about a beautiful woman charming a white slaver and helping to end slavery.

Been blogging, music sharing, etc. for a while now (see blog under this name) & DJing since 1982. I like all kinds of music.

Most of my playlists are not organized & just hold songs I'm interested in, many of which I haven't listened to yet. The "freeform current listening" playlist is as it says & will be updated regularly.
