Omni Music welcomes the unique meeting of Minds of Special Circumstances who have come together to give Omni fans a real treat. The EP starts with the soulful vibes of Lathe of Heaven, a fitting title for a rolling ascent to drifting atmospheric realms with celestial pads and angelic vocals. Archipelago is up next with chopped breaks, beautiful pads and stirring synths that evolve throughout, a perfect example of atmospheric Drum and Bass. The EP ends with Silver Kings where pads and discreet keys dance majestically with the expertly chopped breakbeats eventually taking on that timeless sound from the 90's, a truly reflective and nostalgic landscape of sound. We hope to hear more from this talented duo again soon.
