Here is our recording from our set from Saturday Evening (21-0) at Feel Festival 2023. Once again, we were given the chance to play on our "own" stage called Gleisdreieck, which was build and organized by @paarpaletten. So thankful and grateful for the amazing vibes and the crewlove that we recieved! 

Unfortunately, we got some technical issues with recording our set (we keep doin' that!) similiar to last year - you will hear that in some tracks, but you will make it through :).

Djappa is a DJ based in Berlin. Through his passion for clubbing, Djappa grew an obsession with Djing, started to develop his musical taste and compiling playlists. After moving to Berlin, Djappa started exploring the clubbing life of the renowned city of techno. Finding a perfect environment and community strengthened his desire and detected his path to transform his energy into music. His passion continued to grow, leading him to become the head of the party series "Elastic Bazaar". From Tech House to Melodic Techno, his euphoric melodies lightens his deep basslines through the dance floor. By then, a pure love and a real connection is built with his crowd.

3 QUESTIONS to SEVERAL DEFINITIONS:

Q: Listening to your mix is a showcase of your influences. So the early 2000´s formed your music?

A: Yes mostly. I discovered the electronic sounds in those years. Trance melodies have influenced me in what I like to produce today.

Q: You´re living in the french part of Switzerland. How would you describe the electronic music scene there?

A: Difficult! Unfortunately, It's hard to have support in the region. Unlike the German side where people are much more into the electronic scene. I hope that this will change in the coming years.

Q: Your release output is huge, having only strong releases on big labels. So what can we except soon?

A: Currently I work a lot on my first album, which will be released on Stil Vor Talent, a Berlin music label. The album will be very personal and will produced on various influences. Besides that, I 've done some remixes and a big collaboration with Marc DePulse! I leave myself time to find the right labels.

Drumcode continues its commitment to releasing the scene’s most cutting-edge techno. With releases this year already from Adam Beyer, Pig&Dan, Alan Fitzpatrick, Dense & Pika and Julian Jeweil, this July see’s the return of Enrico Sangiuliano with ‘Astral Projection’.

After his remix of Moby’s of ‘Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad’ back in November last year, Enrico sought creative inspiration from his travels, transcending that into his productions and long studio sessions during the winter months. The result brings a mind and body melting release from the Italian producer.

The title track ‘Astral Projection’ is a captivating, big room techno masterpiece. Deep reverberations punch alongside a sinisterly crisp percussive drive. Launching into a groove laden synth modulation of low end textures, it breaks down into an ethereal amalgamation of pads and synths before the vocal launches, taking this track to another level.

‘Blooming Era’ has destructive dancefloor intent. There is no holding back with the low end synth modulation which Enrico has mastered to perfection. A tightly woven percussive flare moulds flawlessly with the rolling oscillations of the beast of this track.

If you have seen label head honcho Adam Beyer playing anywhere on the globe in the last 5 months, this has been a peak time favourite. Road-tested to the max, and with much success.

Cooked up with a more melodic vibe and fusing elements of house and techno, Dense & Pika’s latest outing on Drumcode offers something different compared to their previous work. There is still that vintage feel to each of the tracks with analogue sounds and arrangements born and developed from experimental studio jams. Indeed, ‘Suki’ heavily utilizes the distinct harmonic tones of the Dave Smith Prophet 8 keyboard. While ‘Little Sun’ - A staple of D&P performances over the last three months - delivers a more classic Drumcode sound. ‘Lanky’ closes out the release with an infectious slab of wonderfully wonked-out raw funk.
