Our next release comes from Kenpo Records frontman Antonio Grassia as he makes his NoZzo Music debut with two blistering Tech House heaters. We also call in fellow countrymen Proudly People on remix duties for 'Thursday'.

Kicking things off, the title track 'Thursday' rolls on in with intent and vigour. Laced with Funk-inspired sampling and soulful licks, its blend of perpetual drums and crisp perc construction brings an energetic terrace-ready feel. Subtle harmonies and progressive grooves build throughout the track, keeping you in a stir from end to end.

Hammering in their unmistakable sonic individuality, Proudly People come to the table with a punchy remix of 'Thursday' that will have you on your toes. Chugging grooves and sizzling hat sequences rebound off layers of instrumental constructions, carving out a punchy and movement-invoking peak time cut with limitless energy. 

The release closes on 'Pittino', a driving Tech House stomper with more high-octane Funk & Soul influence. A contrasting balance of potent and raucous main segments - crammed with danceable drum work and movement - and creative solo builds, centring around wildly creative sampling arrangement and climactic peaks. Another standout record with a big-room feel!

Our next release comes from label favourite Gustaff, as he returns to Unnamed & Unknown following his ‘Real Vibe’ EP earlier this year with five freshly-squeezed dancefloor heaters - making up ‘Pizza & Groove’.

Kubbo Records frontman Gustaff kicks off the EP with ‘Papito’, showcasing his signature rolling tech style. Rhythmic sub-bass adds more movement to its punchy drum work and crisp, rattling percs, whilst subtle synths, vox chops, glitchy samples slide in and out of the track’s groove.

‘Puma’ comes next, as Gustaff continues with another percussive-focused gem. Building around a rumbling sub, an array of rippling instrumental and melodic layers add flair and character to the track that complements its robust core of drums. 

Next up, ‘Pot Head’ cuts a grittier line with an analogue presence felt from end to end. More raucous than its predecessors, the track features a heavy focus on hardware-inspired sounds with a gritty feel to its melodic components that ride over the top of another weighty percussive underbelly. 

‘Light Ball’ follows, taking the energy down with a more laid back approach. Emphasising looser grooves, its bed of swaying drum work and crisp hat layers create space for its stirring ensemble of vocal and melodic components that keep you ebbing and flowing from start to finish. 

Completing the EP, ‘Recheckkk’ offers a stripped-back terrace groover with bags of energy. Explicitly underground and loaded with rhythmic creativity, its endless layers of movement are dissected by a soulful vocal arrangement, dreamy synths & pads and quirky melodic samples.

Argentinian native Funk Off keeps our 2022 schedule moving as he makes his Black Seven Music debut this March with a killer two-track release - Roller. 

Blossoming out of a region renowned for its Deep & Tech House artists, rising talent Funk Off (AR) continues to make strides in the right direction with a stream of impressive releases on well respected electronic imprints. Adding to that tally, he touches down on Black Seven Music for the first time with a duo of emphatic dancefloor-ready stompers - what an introduction!

‘Roller’ is first up, bringing along a heavyweight arrangement and boisterous persona that you won’t forget in a hurry. Thumping drum work and crystal clear percs build the perfect blend of punch and flow, whilst roaring sub-bass adds even more movement to the depths of the track. A hooky rap vocal flows throughout, whilst a secondary vox is twisted and stretched alongside a climactic and sawing synth - before hammering in another furious drop and pushing you back into its groove. 

‘High Wire’ comes next with even more cadence and energy. Driving rhythms take charge from the outset, with a strong core of kicks, bass notes and sampled hand drums keeping you plugged in. Another dominant rap vocal features heavily in the bridge sections of the track, whilst rising melodies build suspense - leading to compelling dives and plenty of robust grove-focused segments.
