Something I've been feeling over the past two days. I'm exploring and experimenting with different tempos, instruments, and sounds. This is in 6/4.

Afrofuturist

I don't have a genre for this track. I'm open to suggestions so I can add some #s. This is a release track. A lot of what I've created recently has been that. It's pent up energy in the form of smoothed out jazzy funk with hip-hop drums. I used the  famous quote from Langston Hughes because it's what I felt as I was completing this. For years, decades I wanted to create but first one things then another stopped me. I had spurts with my crew (I-Phunk forever) but now I'm birthing my own sound.

A Dream Deferred

My R&B jam. I've struggle with making a quality R&B track. I felt like this one (and one that I haven't posted, Warmth) succeed in that. This may also be used as music for a spoken word.

Our Love is Real

The Third

I'm in the process of writing either a story or a script. I'm not revealing the plot in case I do finish. However, there is a character in the story that goes by Zhang Zhou. It was a name I thought I totally made up only to find it it's an actual city. The character has a fight scene with the protagonist. This is the music I imagined playing during the fight.

Zhang Zhou

I honestly can't remember the inspiration or the process in creating this track. I know that just using a computer and no drum machine presents it's own challenges when attempting to break things and break things up. This is also one of those tracks I initially created, said "meh," but later on thought pretty nice.

Heat in B Minor

The track is Haunted Phunk, something I created about two years ago. V.O.C.A.B. is my cousin and a talented lyricist. I don't think I really need anymore explanation. Listen to the track. Track artwork by cxndyfxre, my middle daughter.

I like this jawn. It's very groovable and I just envision folks kicking it on a dance floor to this. Nice track to rhyme or or sing to. Someone could pop lock to it or flares or windmills, etc.
