"Micro Jam" (demo v1) 

A short one minute jam or sketch I played this weekend using my 37-key Korg microKEY AIR as a MIDI controller. The VST sounds come from Arturia Mini V4 (Minimoog bass sound), Audiolounge Key Affair 3, Spectrasonics Keyscape, UVI FMX2 XL, Gospel Musicians' Neo-Soul Keys Studio 2 and UVI Emulation III. Drums and the fantastic drum beat come from UVI Beatbox Anthology 2 (The 7o7 kit).

Recorded and mixed in Cubase Pro with significant help from iZotope Neutron. Mastered with Ozone 11.

Das Stück Musik was ihr hier hört war ursprünglich nur eine Spielerei mit Klangschalen, Samples, Gesang von gregorianischen Chören und der Versuch Obertongesang in einem Synth nachzuahmen. Letztlich ist daraus aber mehr geworden. Ich hoffe ihr mögt den Song, entspannt dabei und last euch treiben.

The piece of music you hear here was originally just an experiment with singing bowls, samples, Gregorian chant and an attempt to imitate overtone singing in a synth. In the end, however, it became something more. I hope you like the song, relax and let yourself drift away.

Each step in this process teaches me something new, and my curiosity never fades. With each new recording, I embrace increasingly advanced and demanding sound mixing techniques, allowing me to refine my artistry and push the boundaries of quality. Because of that, I can release new recordings with confidence—whether they are fresh creations or improved versions of earlier ideas.
