Following a series of memorable appearances on Casco’s Music Control and Bordello A Parigi, Miss Plug Inn teams up with Norwegian cosmic disco veteran Jarle Bråthen for a double dose of Italo Pop on Funnuvojere Records.

Under Neon Lights is an uplifting funk track buoyed on a surge of nostalgic synth, in which love seems to find itself again. On the B side Girls of The Night has just the right amount of hard synths to bring us back to the electro cosmic sound of the early 2000s.The hip-house vocals are the cherry on top of this delicious cake. 

A chugging bass line, acoustic drums, fragments of piano house and tripped-out trance waves distinguish Budino’s remix of Under Neon Lights. Omer’s remix of Girls Of The Night conjures a Miss Plug Inn in leather attire. This is a rather uptempo remake for late night dance floors. Check out Bråthen’s Rabbagast remix for a Hi-NRG club banger.

Joe Delon loves music. You might think that would (or should) be self-evident in someone who DJs for a living, but the electronic music world would be a better place if everyone cared and thought as much as he did. In addition to being an increasingly in-demand DJ, he runs a stellar label, Welt Discos and moonlights as a music writer, with a beloved Substack newsletter that he usually updates twice a week. A blend of touring DJ travelogue and mix recommendations, it's a rich source of information and music from an artist with a warm, friendly voice—and perhaps more importantly, impeccable taste.

It's that taste that has endeared him to many dance music fans around the world over the last few years, developing a dedicated fanbase who greet every new mix with bated breath (including, hopefully, this one). He's something of a record digger, but not in the clichéd way—he just loves to find records new and old full of melody, springy rhythms and a generally quirky, positive vibe. The music he selects often has an '80s tinge to it, even when it's not from the '80s, but it's hard to pin down what he plays, both because his sets are so unpredictable, and because it wouldn't be fair.

His RA Podcast, as he explains below, is meant to sum up his last year of DJing, a carefully put together selection of favourites from 2022 (meaning records he played that year, not that came out last year). As always, it's a mix of familiar and far-flung records, mixed with Delon's breezy, unique style. Part of the reason why people have come to love his DJing so much is that it just kind of puts a smile on your face. Listen and you'll see.

宇宙旅行が当たり前となった時代。孝（たかし）は親友の正（ただし）を含む大学の同期数名と月
面への渡航の最中だった。
孝は同性ながら好意を寄せている正に本心を告げられず、また正も故郷の女性に片思いしてい
た。
彼らが搭乗した宇宙船は月面へ出発した矢先、座標を定める計器が故障し、墜落してしまう。
大気圏へ到達するために必要なエネルギーはそのままに、海面の奥深くへ宇宙船は沈没した。
孝が目覚めると、宇宙船の乗組員は正の除いた全員が死亡。奇跡的に二人だけが生き残った。
彼らが漂流したのは、深海に人知れず存在する別の文明と人類。地球の内側の宇宙に築かれ
た『もう一つの大地』だった。
そこには一切の科学は存在せず、人類は言語の代わりに第六感を発達させ、それぞれ交流し、
繁栄していた。
森林が青々と燃える大地に不時着した宇宙船と孝たちの科学的な所持品は、彼ら先住民の第六
感を疎外する”異物”であり、二人は否応なしに捕らえられてしまう。
先住民から逃走する最中、孝は『もう一つの大地』の洗礼を受け、第六感に目覚めようとする。
先住民と言語を介さない交流を図る中で、正は故郷に戻りたいと願う一方で、孝は『もう一つの大
地』で暮らすことを密かに思っていた。
愛と葛藤が入り混じり、協力と衝突を繰り返す二人の結末は・・・
。

Furious Frank returns to Butter Sessions with 'Ahora Sí'. The fully fledged house anthem is the result of a cross-continental collaboration with Barcelona based vocalist and producer Ivy Barkakati. 

We're treated to four versions of 'Ahora Sí', all tested and ready for the dance floor and those special moments! Kicking it off, Frank delivers his "Original Acid Mix". A deep, squelchy lurker with nods to late 80's and 90's house music, peaking with thick piano chords and Barkakati's deep Spanish vocals. On the 'Sunrise' mix, the piano and chords become the focus and set the mood for an uplifting journey, bolstered by the raw thump and jack of the drum machines. 

The flip side see's Barcelona based "IVAN" emerge with their version. The duo made up of Ivy Barkakati and Phran of Klasse Wrecks fame slow things down a touch, mangle the chords and inject the rhythm with flattering top-drawer percussion. Vancouver native D. Tiffany rounds the EP off with sub-heavy bass drops, hi-tek rhythms, euphoric vocal slithers and more stingin' acidic vibes.
