Jazzy Duets for Christmas

Not many law students release a CD (let alone their sixth) but Jillaine does just that with "Jazzy Christmas to You III," an expansive jazz album produced by independent jazz label, Jillaine Records. Jillaine's vocals, reminiscent on some tracks of the sonorous Billie Holiday and on others of the scintillating Ella Fitzgerald, will transport you through ballads and blues to swing and street beat. Singing Latin jazz in the fetching version of "The Christmas Song" as well as down-home boogie in the catchy "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus," she showcases her styling repertoire and magnifies the fact that she has the chops and knows it! With soulful appeal she beckons with "Good Morning Blues," but it is with tender and intimate appeal in the standard ballads "White Christmas" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas" that she reaches into your soul so you cannot forget her.

Jillaine refreshingly delights with Jazzy Christmas to You II.  “Recording these songs was like planning holiday celebrations for fans throughout the year,” says Jillaine, “encompassing snow, love, Baby Jesus, and more love!”
 
Covering “Last Christmas” using acoustic guitar and synth accompaniment, Jillaine sings a poignant tribute to Wham’s rendition.  Traditional songs “I Wonder as I Wander” and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” are hauntingly ethereal.  The duet “Let It Snow!  Let It Snow!  Let It Snow!” featuring James Archibald is sure to warm your toes and your heart. 
 
Jillaine swings wildly in the obscure “Dig That Crazy Santa Claus.”  Never straying too far from her roots in the blues, Jillaine sings “Please Come Home for Christmas.”  Additionally, Jillaine includes her gut-bucket original “Santa Blues.”    
 
Jazzy Christmas to You II is Jillaine’s second holiday album in as many years recorded at Jillaine Records Studio in Utah.  She will get you ready to celebrate the holidays with her versatile arrangements of pop, jazz, and blues holiday songs.
