Jillana Jones is a pop/r&b singer-songwriter from Charlotte, NC. Jillana started writing songs in her college dorm room in Atlanta, while avoiding homework, studying to be a journalist. A product of musical parents, Jillana learned to sing simultaneously to learning to speak, so the marriage between writing and music was a natural one. Jillana’s first single “In The Summertime” was released summer 2016, with it’s follow up “acoustic-ish” version, made it’s debut in May, 2017. Her style has been compared to Tori Kelly and Alessia Cara, but she secretly wishes to make 90s R&B a thing again.
