J'adore l'illustration d'instruments de type dessin animé. Un morceau jazzy de la variété raffinée. La voix comme instrument puis comme chant à part entière. La voix principale a beaucoup de brio. Plus un refrain sauvage. Très professionnel et très agréable.

“Borrowed Time” is a song about the cowboy way of life that is slowly disappearing.  The cowboy lifestyle, pasters, and farmlands across North America are slowly disappearing due to urban growth and development. For example, when I moved to Oshawa, Ontario in 2005, there were several cattle farms and the famous Windfield Farm that was only a five-minute walk from our home.  Windfield Farms was formally home to Canada's leading thoroughbred stallions including Northern Dancer that won the Kentucky Derby in 1964, and the Preakness Stakes.  My boys when they were young lads could feed the horses carrots through the fence.  Today, these farms and ranches have largely disappeared and have been replaced by high-rises, multi-story condo’s, townhouses, shopping centers and graffiti that never exists in the country. Real horses have now been replaced with steel static statues that you see in the music video.  This song is tribute to the cowboy legacy and lifestyle in North America and being wild and free.

This is the next instalment in the tale of Mike Fox and amazing lyricist Tony Harris , the nicest guy on the planet ! I may have overdone the harmonies , oops , see what you think . On the 25th is a mega production with lyrics by wonderful Andrea Brennan , vocals guitar and basic format by myself , but everything else by Axel Menningen , including production ! Then on the 1st of November is the 2nd outing for Dave Cooper and myself , closely followed by a song actually by myself for a change ! Loads waiting in the wings ! Thank you .

Route 66

This is a recording of a spontaneous living room jam with my good friend Hilario when he and his wife visited us at home in Amsterdam in 2016. I had forgotten the recording but my friend Hilario found it somewhere on the shelf. This was the first time we played live together instead of long distance collabs. 
After a little editing here is the track with the memory of this wonderful visit of my friends.

The title comes from the conclusion we came to when we noticed that neither of us could see well without glasses anymore :)

A Short Swarm Moment
