Bassically wires up a pulsing dancefloor rework of Sun Ra's wry, apocalyptic 1980s anthem, "Nuclear War." Respectful of the original, retaining its bluesy, languid frame, Bassically ups the tempo in his 'Kick and Bass Re-rub'. Ra's jazz-punk classic confronts impending doom with tongue-in-cheek funkiness and surprising composure, which are reinforced by Bassically's buoyant reinterpretation. Even after the end of the World, there are other worlds.
