For this simple riff, I was able to get down drum and bass in a clean mix without too much mud or overlap. This is probably the best mixed demo I've ever recorded on my M-Audio Fast Track, using Vegas and not a whole lot of plugins. I believe I used Guitar Rig for the guitars.

M80M THALL

All tracks were recorded on an Ibanez M80M with the tone knob rolled all the way off to try and get as close to a neck pickup sound using the bridge pickup.

Tracks 1 & 2: doubled clean guitar

Tracks 4 & 5: dueling solos

Each track also had its own unique digital rig. Solo tracks were done using the "1994" and "1993" solo presets in GR5.

I used Guitar Rig 5 ("Clean Citrus" preset) in Cubase and random reverb and EQ settings, finished off the mix/master in Goldwave to remove hiss, hum, and trim the edges of the waveform.

just messing around in Guitar Rig 5 while listening to NIN's Ghosts album... stumbled upon a neat little scale (I have no idea which one but I liked the way it sounded)

Fun Lil' Scale

Expect the truth not blinded by the hands of a guilty, lesser society that is based on greed, insults, and lies. This time around, the feelings are real. Sounds of the wounded are sounds of the adored.

Experience plays a significant role in their creativity. Each member knows that where beauty can be found, shadows are gravely haunting. When it seems that all is lost, progress can still be made when victim to malicious tactics. From ruins of defeat, the strength to carry on churns from enemies of the past.

An indefinite fate will not slow the band in their onward advances. Being familiar with conflict has readied them for the decisions that are ahead. Boundless horizons and an equally abundant driving force guides Lodis C to an echelon above all.
