After 25 years of musical career, Jimena Angel, singer and composer Bogotana, launches the second single from her most recent production "Maní" in which she surprises us in her facet as a music producer, thanks to the renowned producer Christian Castagno.
Jimena finds in this work, a new sound that is the result of multiple trips, experiences and musical influences; mixing electronic beats with African rhythms, called by herself as AFRO-CARIBE-ELECTRONIC.

In July of 2018 we heard the first single of this same work called "Ciruela"; a dancehall dedicated to female sexuality and its empowerment, and with which she held several concerts such as the "Picnic Club Colombia", "Buró Feria", "Oktober Fest Tunja" and "Afrofestival", among others and a successful tour in Europe .

Winner of the call of the Gilberto Alzate Avendaño Foundation "Disco Peña De Mujeres Vol. 7", she released her 2 solo work "Todo Reverdece", fusion of Colombian folklore and electronic Beats and was listed as one of the 10 best albums of 2014, according to the Semana magazine

Her first album as soloist "Día Azul" was nominated for the Latin Grammy in 2009 in the category "Best Female Vocal Album of the Year" with prominent artists such as Natalia Lafurcade, Amaia Montero and Laura Pausini
Jimena is recognized in Colombia as one of the pioneers of the rock scene in Spanish with her band "Pepa Fresa" participating with them in Rock al Parque 1996,1997 and 1998
She was part of other groups such as "Sidestepper" and "Sonorama" and was a guitarist for the reggae band "Alerta Kamarada"
