Lover Behind the Rails (Live)

This is a song I wrote when a hurricane passed over Fayetteville, AR.  It was 4 in the morning and pouring like I'd never seen.  I watched the water flow past the street and reflected on some Buddhist texts that I was reading.  The moments and words infused in my head and this song was born.  
This song, and the Reprise, are both meant to open and close my album, respectively.  The album will be available for purchase early 2013 on iTunes and Amazon and a bunch of other places. 

We, the Water

This song, (pronounced "ah feenay toonel" (Italian for "at the end of the tunnel")) was written during a trip to Northern Italy for the Festivale Internazionale Valle Christi's production of Shakespeare's The Tempest ("La Tempesta").  It came to me one night after a very stressful rehearsal and I started focusing on the journey of the production rather than on just the outcome.
