Jimi Needles' musical roots are in hip hop, soul, funk, and disco, but on the turntables he combines pin-point scratching, intricate cuts, breaks, and bass music to craft a unique and high-energy sound that spans genres and keeps the crowd moving! His dynamic sets always pay homage to old-school classics while blending modern sounds, ensuring every performance is one-of-a-kind.

Known for his genre-defying party mixtapes, deck-defying festival performances, and an array of bootlegs and original productions on labels like Swing & Bass, Thick Boy Records, and Jungle Strikes, Jimi has built a reputation as both a skilled turntablist and an innovative producer.

In November 2024, he released his debut album, ''Ample Clearance'', a self-produced project that showcases his versatility as an artist, as a writer, a DJ and a producer. Jimi is also one of the tour DJs for the Symphonica Orchestra, adding his super-tight skills to their live and electric renditions of club classic dance hits.
