I wrote FLOATATION because i wanted to make an aggressive RNB song. I didn't want the song to come off as soft even though it was sexual so I engineered the beat & my lyrics to give the song that type of vibe.

PARROTS was actually written years ago. I felt like the industry was headed to a trap sound, & most of my music at the time was more ambient & soft, so i created this beat strictly for the strip club & the trap environment.

as far the song name, when i made the hook.. i just had this dope line about weed (I'm a heavy stoner) "i know birdtalk & my gas same color parrots" & so i rode with that as the name.

PARROTS is probably my biggest single to date. the first time I would be somewhere, & hear cars riding by playing my song.

WOLF is a track I wrote years ago in a time where I was very mentally frustrated. I endured a lot of success at that time with music, but it also brought a lot of different types of enemies. I didn't know who to trust. this was just me venting lyrically about those times.

GRANDMA'S PRAYERS was a song written about a very beautiful & dear friend to me. the lyrics imitate the emotions I felt when around her.

the first track in 3 years from David Lewis, who now goes by his family nickname, JIMI, is a melodic ballad describing the reason for his recent distance from music & loved ones. This song is a vibe, as lyrics float over the smooth kicks & soft sounds in the background, you get caught in a modern day gospel of an artist opening his eyes to the realities of life.
