Dr Hefna is a Melbourne based Peak Time Techno DJ and  Producer.

His live sets incorporates heavy driving beats played with solid euphoric energy and booty shaking vibes.

Driven by a passion for underground sub culture and a history of playing guitar in Sydney and Melb based punk bands, he dived into the World of Tehno whilst exploring Berlins underground music and art scene.
Upon returning home he submerged himself in Melbournes Festival Culture and now  plays regularly at Bush Parties and Club Events.
Has played at New Dawn, Psychedelic Lands, Local Produce, Beats in the Valley,  The Brink, The Kraken, Renegade Fiya Service, Pirainia, Pelican Villa, Camps with Amps, Brown Alley, 24 Moons,, New Dawn, Genesis,  My Aeon, Rubix Warehouse and many more events.

Jimmi-Woods is an Australian, Melbourne based producer. An experimental electronic musician whom could be considered a genre crosser. A big fan of progressive music, he underpins his sounds with tech infused grooves. Pushing the envelope in every production he continuously thinks outside the square and most importantly allows the music to develop where it needs to grow.

James started out as an avid drummer and percussionist, playing in many bands over the years, in particular the funk fused band Soul Trip. As a man who loves his groove, band or no band, he entered the realm of music production learning his craft with the very experimental Shifty Gypsies and then took it up a notch with the Psy Tech invoked Stepping Inwards. He is constantly learning and evolving his sound.

Nu:Tone is a name that automatically populates in a seasoned drum & bass brain upon hearing the words Hospital Records. But Nu:Tone’s first drum and bass release was actually put out in 2001 on John B’s label Beta Recordings after the pair became friends and established the local club night ‘Substance’ in Durham.  On returning to his hometown Cambridge, Nu:Tone met a squad of like-minded musical mates and eventually released the ‘Future Sound of Cambridge’ EP on Hospital in 2004.

With five solo studio albums to boast as well as a wealth of singles, and EP’s, Nu:Tone’s tracks can always be heard across dancefloors and the festival circuit. From his first studio album “Brave Nu World” to third studio album “Words and Pictures” (which was perhaps his most ambitious project) and all before, in-between and after, Nu:Tone’s output always gleans the full support of the wider dance music community’s biggest tastemakers from Annie Mac and Rene La Vice to Toddla T and David Rodigan. Nu:Tone regularly tours Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, confirming his global appeal. 

Nu:Tone can also be heard as part of other collaborative projects, like Nu:Logic, the Hospital Records signed sibling duo of him and Logistics. Or as part of Danism, under which he releases house with great success. Danism’s track “No Limits’ reached number one on the Traxsource chart in 2019 and received DJ support from house royalty Louie Vega, Danny Krivit and Todd Terry. 

Having a keen ear for other people’s music is something that we see from Nu:Tone in a multitude of projects. While working for Hospital as part of the A&R team, he also continues to work as a mastering engineer for Innerground, Spearhead and Soulvent Records. He fondly states an annual highlight for him is the stage he curates with Logistics at Sardinia’s famous Sun & Bass festival each year, and it’s clearly something he enjoys as he’s been back every year since 2003 (except one year when his eldest was born!)
