‘What I Did For Love’ is my 34th Album, which is a collection of love ballads that takes you on a nostalgic journey of music through the generations and genres.  It covers the period 1959 to 2009 and there is something for everyone...

The title track ‘What I Did For Love’ is a song by Engelbert Humperdinck released in 2009 from his album ‘Engelbert Volume 1’. Other songs by Engelbert in this Album are ‘The Spanish Night is Over (1986) and ‘Just For the Love of You’ (1987). So, I hope you enjoy these romantic ballads.

‘Dance Me to the End of Love’ is a song by Canadian singer Leonard Cohen and was released by Cohen on his 1984 album ‘Various Positions’. I Love this song and really enjoyed recording and producing it.

‘Fall in Love with You’ is a song by Cliff Richard and the Shadows, released as a single in March 1960. This is a new version of the song which I first released on my ‘One Moment In Time’ Album in 2016. Other songs by Cliff Richard on this Album are ‘Let’s Make A Memory’ (1962).

‘Theme for Young Lovers’ is an instrumental by British group the Shadows, released as a single in February 1964. Also on this Album is another song by the Shadows in ‘Wonderful Land’ (1962). Both these songs were on my first Album ‘Shades of the Shads’ which was released in 2012 and are re-done from scratch to bring it to another level of musical harmony. So, I hope you enjoy these once again...

The ’Sea of Love’ is a 1959 song by Phil Phillips and The Twilights, covered by many performers. 

‘Something Inside (So Strong)’ is a song written and recorded by British singer-songwriter Labi Siffre. It was released as a single in 1987 and was one of the biggest successes of his career, peaking at number four on the UK Singles Chart. 

‘Love Shine a Light’ is a song by British rock band ‘Katrina and the Waves’ and won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997, representing the UK.

‘It's All Over Now, Baby Blue’ is a song written and performed by Bob Dylan and featured on his ‘Bringing It All Back Home’ album, released on March 22, 1965.

‘Send Me an Angel’ is a 1983 song by Australian band Real Life. The song was released in May 1983 as the band's debut single from their debut studio album ‘Heartland’. 

‘One Fine Day’ is a song written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King. It first became a popular hit in the summer of 1963 for the American girl group ‘The Chiffons’, and reached the top five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. 
‘Big Big World’ is a song by Swedish singer ‘Emilia’ and was released in September 1998 as the lead single from the album of the same name and was written by Emilia and Lasse Anderson.

'l’ll Play For You’ is a song by ‘Seals & Crofts' and from their seventh studio album and was released in the summer of 1975.

‘Is This Love’ is a song by Bob Marley and the Wailers, released on their 1978 album ‘Kaya’. The song became one of the best-known Marley songs and was part of the ‘Legend’ compilation. I recorded it for my wife Linda, which is one of her favourites and links to wonderful memories for both of us...so hope you enjoy my cover version...

‘Lovefool’ is a song written by Peter Svensson and Nina Persson for Swedish rock band the ‘Cardigans' third studio album, ‘First Band on the Moon’ and was released in 1996.

Music is such a powerful medium and a song can trigger memory flashbacks to the precise moment in time when a particular song is heard or revisited…Especially so for this album which is a hit parade of wonderful memories for me, and I wish the same for You… 

I have enjoyed the challenge in recording and producing these songs and I hope it gets you into the dancing mood...

Chicago has been renowned for playing a major part of the birth of underground house music. Embarking on the scene, Jimmie landed rotating guest spots at arguably one of Chicago's first and best underground club SHELTER working with the legendary Chicago promoter Dave Medusa. Jimmie's unique sound of progressive & funky house music, aggression and deck skills, caught the attention of fellow peers. Soon after, the offers started coming in for residencies and guest spots. Jimmie played an integral part of the development of Chicago's progressive scene, which now trail blazes the city's nightlife. With a wave of nightclub openings in Chicago, Jimmie was the top contender to attain his first residency. This was the beginning of a trail for ensuing residencies and countless guest spots in Chicago and abroad. The Club history below says it all. 

In the Dj booth, Jimmie has hosted with the best Djs and Producers the world has to offer. Armin Van Buuren, , Mauro Picotto, Christopher Lawrence, Carl Cox, Chemical Brothers, Max Chapman are only a noted few from an immeasurable list. As the underground music grew, a new trend began. Dance music and mix shows were about to be introduced to the community. Energy's 92.7 & 5 became the catalyst to a full 24/7 dance music format. Jimmie landed one of the most coveted spots in Chicago that of a resident DJ on Chicago's premier dance radio station (WKIE Energy 92.7/5) where he hosted a five hour show called Clubland Friday Night. Jimmie was one of the first to showcase international Djs such as Fatboy Slim, Ferry Corsten, and Christopher Lawrence into a field traditionally held by local talent. Jimmie hasnt forgotten his roots nor his first beginnings. He often makes room for local peers to be a Guest Dj on his show as well. Cultivating an atmosphere of the best known up and coming Dj talent. With the end of an era approaching, Energys 4 year running couldn't handle the pop-culture craze. Somehow Jimmies show had survived. A short time after, Arizonas Dance Station Energy 92.7 & 101.1 had hired a new cutting edge Program Director-Mike Oaks. Immediately being embraced by Mike, Jimmies show had now moved to Phoenix. Taking notice of his resume, the Ultra team had signed him to perform at the Ultra Music Festival 7 in 2005. This accomplished a long time goal. 

With the continued success of his mix show, Jimmie was invited back to perform at Ultra 9. His dedication towards hard work, consistency and perfection was immediately recognized. Passion for his craft and music was an evident formula of the next chapter. The Ultra organization took notice and recruited Jimmie to become a candidate for the position of Host and PD of their upcoming radio show. Through an exhausting list of highly talented prospects, perseverance and devotion made the difference. Jimmie is now has become a huge part of the Ultra tradition as he just completed his 20th Year appearance at Ultra 2024 in Miami. Jimmie also hold a residency at the Infamous Dragon Room Chicago.
