angel lebailly ☆: 
French artist Angel Lebailly has been pursuing her love for all sounds deep, atmospheric and dubby over the last years.

After her first dub techno vinyl release “Sous l’eau” in 2023, Angel collaborated with German artists Deemkeyne and David Heine and made an appearance on an Anniversary VA by [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].

2024 shows upcoming collaborations with some exciting dub artists (The Open Circle, Dott. Santafeo, GUZZ) and an imminent new EP is scheduled on Nae:tek longstanding Superordinate Dub Waves in May 2024.

Recent gigs feature Tresor in Berlin with Echocord in February 2024 and London radio shows as well as a couple of upcoming podcasts.

Influenced by the broader dub techno realm, but also sounds from Detroit and contemporary ambient music, nature, travels, & meditation, and a columnist of Magnetic Magazine for the dub techno chart, Angel’s commitment to music and arts remains true to itself.

"Kamai Music is pleased to welcome back Felipe Van Lagerback with a compelling three-track release. 

The EP opens with the title track "Ashei", a melodic house masterpiece featuring dry snare drums layered over a long, driving bassline. Vocal chops and synth arpeggios weave playfully with Felipe’s vocoder vocals, creating a powerful and immersive sound.

"Ochtenddauw" contrasts this with syncopation and a darker, grungier vibe, driven by an industrial break-beat rhythm and a deep bassline. Mellow pads, high-pitched arpeggios, and rhythmic vocal chops add texture and atmosphere.

Closing the EP, "Cime Nere" is a collaborartive effort with good friend Tal Groenman. The track builds ethereally with sustained dark basses and high-pitched leads. Distorted, filtered drums and trippy effects are layered with clean piano melodies, crafting the perfect sunrise vibe.

Originally from Italy and now based in Amsterdam, Felipe draws inspiration from his experiences living across different countries. From the early days of the free party scene from brickworks to caves to beaches Ive been there filling generaters banging tent pegs ,laying cables carrying soundsystems  known as "Jim the WaterMan" wandering the party with a waterbutt and cup on a string hydrating party people for fun and spliffs,to making music with 303s samplers and drum machines,putting on Chill Sites at festivals in Tipis djing till dawn,to having a little club in our bassment with brick dj booth, to being in bands nobody heard of playing keyboards,to ,moving to Manchester partying at Bugged out ,to having our own collective putting party nighs on ,to moving to the countryside ,to having an accident  having to walk with sticks no more dancing the night away,so here still djing in my living room with cool tunes I find with my family and cats keeping it real,I do the mixes for me to play in our van and my workshop,I love to share them with you and to bigup the talented folk who make the tunes ,theres so much cool music out there,Im just doing my bit.Enjoy life its the only one you have :}Jim.....
