The Torben Unit Band from Berlin returns more experimental than ever whilst still being rooted between Jazz and Rock. After the self-titled first LP on Money $ex Records, the second album “Sawaasch Garahsch” will be out in Winter 2017. No label – self-released. The new album consists of many episodes telling a story that could'nt be purer nor rawer. Jazz-rock is the genus when modal madness meets electronic Soul and psychedelic spheres. The spectrum of instruments being used is huge: from Bouzouki to Pearl's syncussion, there is no limit of instrumentation whilst the core of E-piano, Guitar, Bass and Drums mostly remains. Torben Unit's concerts as well as the records are a guaranteed Jazz-Rock Party with never ending feeling. 

Also upcoming: the 7 inch single “Der Unordner” limited to 66 copies.

Onwards, through the darkness and into the great, desolate beyond. Looking backwards he could see the stars, the distant shimmering lights flickering amidst a galaxy one million miles away from the moon. They were climbing to the top of the mountain across the dense, bleak outback of a planet miles away from earth. There was a cold breeze in the air, one of which they had never felt before back at home. It was foggy, harsh and left a bad taste in the mouth as they continued to trudge slowly forwards...

Alliance Upholstery is a great name for a record label. Little more needs to be said than that however we will proceed. Up next on the label is a split EP which is perfectly apt for the last day of winter, a sun kissed affair offering a warmth and insight into the season which lies around the corner. Roy Comanchero's "Moon Hike" is pure bliss.

More rusty and hypnotic sounds are brought by DJ soFa and his newest compilation, Elsewhere LVI. Released on Emotional Response, the 4th compilation of SoFa’s series is meant to move us to the gloomier part of his 12 track travelogue.
Lamusa II and his track Artificiale moves organic sound waves accompanying them with rhythmic shady synth pads, turning our listening journey to somewhat uneasy, yet fascinating trip across the jungle of sleazy and meditative notes.  Elsewhere LVI will come out on Emotional Response.
