It is a pleasure to present to you the set I play at Schimpf Invites to close the season. I thought this one as a mean of catharsis. I hope you enjoy the track selection, and sorry for some little mixing mistakes that also show how nervous I was of playing for the first time on the iconic Schlachthaus in Tübingen. We are humans and mistakes make us grow :D

The AantiGen (NTGN) was born in south of Germany 1985 and lived his early years at the bottom oft he black forest.
During his youth and early twenties NTGN started producing mainly hiphop and singer-songwriter music and had quite a few shows in germany and over seas.
After moving to Berlin in 2008 NTGN´s passion for Techno and Housemusic got bigger and soon he released on Labels like Bar25, ACHT, ANALOGMusiq, Klangwild just to name a few. He also started his own Label Zoned-Recordings in 2017.
NTGNs style is not easy to describe but you can say it is a mix between deep and experimental elements, deep basslines and spheric synths glued together with groovy percussions and some noise.

This set holds a special place in my heart.

It's my debut, captured at the opening gig of Synergie, hosted by the incredible Synthese crew –  being a fresh member of the association made this night extra special, especially with my friends cheering me on.

Playing in front of a live crowd for the first time felt like a surreal experience - seeing the floor fill up and feeling the crowd's energy was beyond words. I was super nervous at first, but that quickly turned into loads of fun. I had a really great time! 

The set captures the highs and lows of my four-week prep – my personal rollercoaster of emotions. It's a mix between bright and dark tones, blending positive melodic techno with a touch of darker melodies. Mixed in were some familiar edits that I bet everyone would recognize.

Als Veranstalterin in Kassel und ihre jahrelange Anbindung an die Clubkultur der Region gibt es natürlich einen bestimmten Hintergrund für ihr Schaffen. Die Liebe zur Musik und die Leidenschaft, Menschen an einen Ort zu vereinen -  um unvergessliche Momente, Raum für Begegnung &  Austausch und das Erschaffen gemeinsamer Erinnerungen und Emotionen zu kreieren. Da ist es naheliegend sich doch irgendwann auch mal selbst hinter das DJ Pult zu stellen und nochmal eine Portion mehr Energie an die Leute zu verteilen! Dabei wird sich selten nur auf ein Genre fest gelegt und am liebsten weiter am Handwerk des Vinylmixing gefeilt. Diesmal hat sie für uns ziemlich alte Platten ausgegraben und nimmt uns mit auf eine Reise ins Land des sphärisch-treibendem Techno gespickt mit ein bisschen minimal und hier und da gewürzt mit Acid

As an event organizer in Kassel and her long connection to the region's club culture, there is of course a certain background to her work. The love of music and the passion to bring people together in one place - to create unforgettable moments, space for encounters & exchange and the creation of shared memories and emotions. So it's only natural to get behind the DJ booth yourself at some point and spread a little more energy to the people! She rarely commits to just one genre and prefers to continue honing the craft of vinyl mixing. This time she has dug up some pretty old records for us and takes us on a journey into the land of spherical, driving techno, peppered with a little minimal and spiced with acid here and there.

RiOD. is a newcomer DJ from Leipzig. In 2021, she started DJing initially with a friend as 'Das Dynamische Duo - 444'. The following year, she continued her career as a solo artist under the name Ri0D. For many years, she attended parties in clubs herself, gaining a sense of how a set should be structured to skillfully lead the audience into hip-swaying. Eventually, she developed a penchant for retro classics and rare remixes, allowing her to consistently create diverse and exciting sets. 
Her sound will bring you funky, bouncy and energizing grooves, guaranteed to get you grooving. 
She loves enchanting dancing hearts with everything from downtempo to electronica funky house, indie dance, old school techno and dance, mixing classics with today's fresh sound, sparking joy and happiness within you. Her vibe is infectious, and her laughter lights up the room. 
It's all about: music makes the people come together, yeah! In just a few years, she can already look back on an impressive list of club references including Klunkerkranich, KitKatClub, Kater Blau - Berlin. Party animals and organizers love her equally. Since early 2023, she's been a resident DJ at Brotfabrik - Leipzig. In October 2023, she toured with the Disco Bizarre Gang from the KIT KAT Club in Marseille & Barcelona and is now looking forward to the upcoming magical music summer in 2024.
