Soul bearing emotive rock, with an edgy buzz: Allegory is a light rock band that combines vivid guitar music, with poetic lyrics and an artistic flair.

The band has been together since May 2014 and after their first release ‘Through Time and Space’, they released their second EP ‘Innermost Odyssey’ in September 2015.

The band has an old school No Doubt vibe with dynamics from The Pixies, connecting to a live audience with a vivacious energy and the human experience (which is a recurring theme in the lyrical song writing). A drummer who’s a hard-hitting deep groover, bolsters an expressive, charismatic guitarist, feeding a female vocalist who parades the stage with the vigour of Siouxsie Sioux and a voice ranging from the ethereal tones of Kate Bush to the dark soulful quality of Amy Winehouse.

Allegory have been inspired by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jack White, David Bowie, Queens Of The Stone Age and Arcade Fire.
