**Tick Tock Tick Tack,**  
My head feels under attack,  
They laugh, they sneer,  
Say I’m weird, say I lack.  
My world is wired, digitized,  
My soul, a stream of data disguised,  
I tap, I swipe, I scroll,  
But something’s missing in my soul.

**Far from the net, by the river’s bend,**  
A fisherman waits for luck to send  
A fish, fat, shiny, and grand,  
He lives by nature’s gentle hand.  
The wind speaks, the water hums,  
He listens close to what may come,  
He reads the sky, he feels the tide,  
No rush, no buzz, just time on his side.

**Eyes locked in, it scrolls, it scrolls,**  
Waiting still for ads to roll,  
Never looking up, never whole,  
This could take a heavy toll.  
Notifications beat like drums,  
But nothing real ever comes,  
A world of noise, of endless ping,  
Where silence is a foreign thing.

**The fisherman pulls up a sack of stuff,**  
Not the catch he hoped for — rough.  
A chip card, a plastic toy,  
A tag that talks, but brings no joy.  
A phone that’s dead, a talking band,  
Relics from a distant land,  
Thrown away without a thought,  
In a world too fast, too overwrought.

**Are they mad in this society…**  
He wonders, staring quietly,  
Where things are tossed more than embraced,  
Where faces fade, and time’s erased.  
But then — a sound, a step, a voice,  
A stranger lost, or making a choice?  
The wired one walks, unsure, amazed,  
Toward the man whose life’s unfazed.

**Tick Tock Tick Tack,**  
Time pauses in its track,  
Two worlds meet, no words exchanged,  
Just a glance, a shift, a change.  
What if connection isn’t wires or waves,  
But silence shared, the peace it saves?  
The fisherman offers a hand, no screen,  
The other hesitates… then sets his device unseen.
