Jimmy Le Mac has created a three-track EP entitled ‘Down 4 The Ride.’ A grooving, slickly produced collection of tunes, this trio is a tasty insight into the style of this producer and Loophole Recordings co-founder. 

Kicking off with the title track, this one has a House vibe to it, with pulsating dancefloor funk playing out beneath shimmering ripples of melody. Next up comes ‘Do Your Thang’, an infectiously progressive introduction springs into action, backed by an everlasting cycle of vocal interjections wrapped around warping bass twangs. Finally comes ‘I’m Down’ – an explorative track that ebbs and flows around sharp vocal samples and depths of resonating bass. 

A consistently playful and textured EP, ‘Down 4 The Ride’ highlights Jimmy Le Mac’s ease at creating bassy dance jams with aplomb - undoubtedly one to keep an eye on.

If UK vibes are your jam we've got some honey for you. Coming off the back of his recent Punks Music release 'Wiggle', Englishman Jimmy Le Mac explores his deep, dark break infused roots in the monster double A-side.  

Gliding mono bass with creepy resonance floats around the room on 'Gundo'. Swung against the chopped up percussion.  'She Works' collapses on you like an aural avalanche. Thumping 808 bass and warped up samples oscillate in between a twerky techno beat.

Melbourne based, British bass-lord Jimmy Le Mac, has graced us with a fresh double A-Side of his floor shaking tech-house. Dubwrecker is whomp heavy and balanced with precise top synths and percussion. While Skank sweeps in soundly with ghostly chords and a powerful sub riff, belting over the solid housey beats. Having floor tested both these jams multiple times at Revolver, JLM assures us that the crowd's reaction to these is as strong as his cups of tea.
