International Women's Day Tuesday Takeover - Em i6

Mi Tributo a la música que el DJ Alejandro "El Pollo" Sosa ponía, cada sábado de  1986, en la disco de Buenos Aires Pinar de Rocha.
Un Bonus Set mix Expandido de 3 horas y media, con sonido de alta resolución.

Nunca se grabaron los sets que "El Pollo" tocaba desde el escenario de la pista Renacimiento de Pinar de Rocha, pero si quedaron grabados en mi memoria durante todos estos años. 
En este set recreé una noche en Pinar del 86, con las mezclas y cortes de la época que hacía "El Pollo" con sus vinilos y las Technics 1200, incluyendo los temas en las versiones exactas que usaba y tratando de seguir la secuencia.

En ese mismo escenario,  tocaban cada semana las grandes bandas del Rock nacional como Soda Stereo, Sumo, Charly Garcia, Zas, Virus, Los Abuelos de la Nada, Los Redonditos de Ricota, Fricción, GIT y tantos otros.

Vestido con sobretodo y anteojos negros "El Pollo" nos influenció con su cultura Pop/Rock haciéndonos escuchar The Cure, The Police, Pink Floyd, U2, AC/DC, Simple Minds, INXS y tantas otras bandas que hoy vuelven a sonar como en el 86 en este mix.

In 1993 I became the resident DJ of what was to become quite possibly the most remembered and the most ‘rockin’ club in Wales – The Hippo Club! I warmed up and finished nights alongside the very best such as Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfold, Sven Vath, Sister Bliss, John Kelly, Laurent Garnier and more. I has also made regular appearances at Timeflies in Cardiff, one of the longest running UK club brands.

I then went on to guest DJ at clubs around the World for several years. In 1997 I entered the UK Ministry of Sound mixing championship and came 2nd (yes in the days it was still vinyl) and then in 2000 I was voted 54th in the DJ Magazine Top 100.

In 2000 I launched my own successful weekly club nights – Enter the Dragon @ Vision with Paul Oakenfold and then later ROAR.
