I think they're missing the point of Frank West right here. In the first game, as they say, he was kinda awkward. Then after Willamette, he becomes a National Hero, an awkward photographer thrust into the limelight, made to believe he's hot shit. Then, as we see in Off the Record, all that Fame has faded, and he's just a loser. This movie takes place after the events of DR2. Jim calls him charismatic (to a fault) but look at it... IS he being charismatic, or is he being an uncool guy's version of charismatic? He's hitting on the girl with no sense of interest, completely crass and selfish. It's like when the quiet kid hears that girls like assholes so he starts treating them like shit, not realizing where he's going wrong. Rob Riggle i think nails the performance of "Rando in the Spotlight."

I watched one thing on Crackle. I vowed never again.

I'm very sad that this DIDN'T become a regular thing.

Complete nonsense. Absolutely, thorough, infuriating nonsense. That's the best way to describe Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. 

It's a shorter running time this week because the film has about ten minutes of plot running through 90 minutes of gibberish. 

Despite that, this is actually one of our most entertaining episodes. A triumph, considering what we were working with.
