They make one quick full-second jump-cut to him post shooting. Looking static, but not looking like he's being electrocuted. So... yeah... another loose end not tied up.

Agreed; none of this makes a sensible ending. That's why this isn't the ending. 47's closing interaction with Mike tries to tie things up as 47 being the antagonist telling the protagonist they lost. With the format taken for the film; it's the only possible explanation. Which only rubs salt in the wound that is the rest of the movie.

This is not that bad movie compared to that zombie movie.

This scene never fails to strike me as bullshit. "Hitman" claims that he shot the dude over 4 km away. Even if he was using a .300 winmag he would still not be able to hit the man, let alone score a headshot. If he would have even been able to hit his target, the extreme angle of fire would mean that the bullet would come in fast enough to rip the target to pieces ( if you have the stomach for it, look up what .50 BMG long range shots do to targets). Of all the bullshit in this movie, this is what I consider the most pungent

In what may be their finest outing yet, your Spin-off Doctors skewer Mr. Olyphant's performance as Agent 47 in the ridiculous 2007 Hitman movie. 

Why doesn't the world's best killer have an alias? How has an Interpol agent pieced together the work of a ghost? Exactly what happened to any of the forgotten characters? 

Hitman 2007 isn't just a bad movie, it's infuriating.
