It had been a while since I last played. Long story short, I had a sudden SSD meltdown on my laptop, wiping out about 1,500 drum and bass tracks—along with all my cue points, playlists, and everything else. I had to recover what I could from an old backup drive and start fresh on a new computer. When my workplace asked me to DJ their summer festival, I pulled together this first playlist from scratch over a couple of evenings. I was really happy with how it turned out. Hopefully, there’s much more to come! And let this be a reminder—always back up everything!
