Sky Radio in Holland has today launched a brand new Custom ID update package, produced by <a href="http://www.wisebuddah.com" target="_blank">Wise Buddah</a> in London. It marks a transition from Sky’s fresh AC sound to a hotter and more contemporary Sky Radio. The package consists of 13 Custom IDs. 

Creative Director and Founder of Capital Media, Anthony Timmers: "About three years ago we started with the changes at Sky Radio. From a Soft AC format to a Modern AC radio station. Although it's only one word difference, the station sounds completely different than before. Now we took the next step with Wise Buddah Jingles and the result? Super fresh! The 2014 jingle package for Sky Radio follows on from Buddah's original package in 2011 and top-up & Christmas cuts in 2012.

The Rocketeers have produced the latest jingle package for the Netherlands' Radio 10.

The package contains 20 main themes with dozens of mixouts including news, weather and traffic beds, commercial sounders... the list goes on!

Live instruments were used in the recordings of these jingles so that they sound exactly as in productions of modern pop songs and also featuring the warmth of the past and the freshness of today's music.

Hit Zone is the newest custom CHR-package for Contact FM (France) from Brandy Jingles, consisting of 10 basic cuts and dozens of mix outs that glue with today’s hits.

THE MAX, the jingle package that’s airing on Q-music in Belgium & the Netherlands, has been extended with 6 new cuts from Brandy.

The Team returned to the legendary Angel Recording Studios in north London and once again called upon Cliff Masterson (Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Westlife) to arrange and conduct the session.

BBC Radio 2 Christmas IDs 2014 from Wise Buddah

Wise Buddah has produced a host of new themes for Holland’s NPO Radio 2. Six new themes have been produced for The Top 2000, which countdowns the favourite tracks of NPO Radio 2’s 11 million listeners. The tracks are designed to reflect the music that features in the countdown, from Abba to Adele and Queen to Coldplay.

NPO Radio 2 also launch three new shows from January 5th, and Wise Buddah have produced 8 new themes ahead of the launch. 

NPO Radio 2’s Head of Music Arjan de Ruiter said: “For the 16th edition of this annual radio show we wished to refresh the tunes the DJ’s use during the Top 2000. Changing the tunes without losing part of the familiarity was quite a challenge, but Wise Buddah succeeded very well. 
For the three new shows, we were looking for some new and fresh idents.
Wise Buddah came with some new and fresh ideas, reflecting the feel of the new shows and NPO Radio 2. Once again working with the guys at Wise Buddah was a great pleasure.”

UTV Radio in the UK is set to launch a new jingle package across some of their stations on February 14th.

The new package was produced in Cyprus, London and Los Angeles in a collaboration between Sandy Beech (Music 4) and Dave Bethell (Beds and Beds). The 'Today’s Best Mix' strapline is to be replaced with 'I love this Station' which 'reflects the views of many of our loyal listeners', said Terry Underhill (Group PD for UTV).

Peak FM, Pulse 1, Radio Wave, Signal 1, Signal 107, Tower FM, The Wave, Wire FM and Wish FM air the new package while promotions, marketing and sales teams will also highlight the new sound.

Bauer City 2 is a network of 15 local radio stations in Scotland and northern England, owned and operated by Bauer Radio.

The stations, which carry separate localised branding, air a networked schedule of classic hits music, alongside local news and travel, specialist music programming and a weekly current affairs phone-in on Sunday mornings. The network launched on Monday 5 January 2015.

The custom created jingles package heard across the Network is produced by <a href="http://www.bespokemusic.com" target="_blank">Bespoke Music</a>.

Based on the original 2012 theme, each one is based on a different genre to reflect the evolving playlist (Deep House, Electro Pop, Alt Guitar and Hip Hop).

“Following the excitement of working with the BBC Concert Orchestra in 2012, we were delighted to update the package with four brand new themes. It’s always interesting to hear progressive interpretations of our work across contemporary genres” said Paul Plant, MD of Wise Buddah Jingles.

Spin South West is a regional radio station broadcasting to Kerry, Limerick, Clare, North Tipperary and south-west Laois. Spin South West’s format is taken from Dublin’s Spin 1038, the original Spin station started in 2002. Both stations are owned by Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp Group.

Spin South West launched in 2007 with a syndicated version of a package originally created for sister station Spin 103.8 in Dublin.

In late 2009 a new custom package for Spin South West was produced by Music 4.

The station was launched as Lite 102.2 in May 2000. On purchasing the station, UTV rebranded it to Dublin's Q102 thanks to research of Dublin people aged over 35, who decided on bringing back the name of a former pirate radio station. The jingles were from Music 4.

The station's relaunch was orchestrated by former Big Brother UK contestant Ray Shah, who took over the station until it was relaunched. The take over involved a defacement of Lite 102.2's website and the constant playing of Mah Na Mah Na during the transition period. The station's Radio Data System PS name was changed to MUPPET during this time, before settling on Q102 afterwards. The first song played on the new Dublin's Q102 was Night Fever by The Bee Gees followed by What About Me by Shannon Noll.

UTV Media’s network of stations have a new sound thanks to Music 4 in London.

The new group wide package is now airing on Signal 1, Signal 107, The Pulse, 96.4 The Wave, Radio Wave, Tower FM, Wire FM, Wish FM and Peak FM.

The jingle package follows the recent appointment of David Dunne as Group Music Scheduler and Terry Underhill joining as Group Programme Director last autumn.

UTV’s Calum Macaulay, Director of Local Radio, said: “The sound of our stations has been lifted to a new level today and we believe that our listeners will love the new, fresh sound on our stations. Terry and the senior programming team here have delivered an exciting new jingle package that will help us to continue to grow our audience.”

Signal 1 (UTV Radio) Jingles 2012

YOU FM, the youth-branch of public broadcaster Hessischer Rundfunk in Germany, have come out ‘guns blazing’... paving a new path for on-air imaging.

The station shipped its two producers (Mathias Ochs and Fabian Brosi) off to Holland, to go and work together with the <a href="http://www.purejingles.com" target="_blank">PURE Jingles</a> team on carving out a new imaging sound. This style of working gave the package an extra dimension because of the instant feedback the composers and producers got about the direction of the package.

State-of-the-art
“If you want to have imaging that reflects current musical and production styles, you just have to get your hands dirty and try LOTS of ideas”, says program director Jan Vorderwülbecke. “PURE Jingles worked tirelessly to get the package exactly how we wanted it. To sum it up: the package is state-of-the-art!”

Music Like Me
YOU FM introduced a new slogan, Music Like Me, to reflect their programming policy! At any point during the day, listeners can use an app or the website to let the station know when they like a record. Songs that get many ‘likes’ will be played more often.

With a focus on being interactive plus the new imaging, YOU FM is ready to build the brand into the future. PURE Jingles does its part by regularly updating the package with new musical themes. YOU FM 2013 from Pure Jingles

Portugal’s privately owned commercial station Radio Renascença have launched a brand new Breakfast Gospel ID, produced by <a href="http://www.wisebuddah.com" target="_blank">Wise Buddah Jingles</a>. Originally written for Germany’s Antenne Eins, the track underwent a Portuguese transformation including main vocals from a lead singer of the London-based musical We Will Rock You..

Holland’s Number 1 station 538 has launched the Summer Updates to their existing ID package with Wise Buddah Jingles. 

Comprising 4 Custom IDs plus a TOH with an upbeat, hot summer vibe, the updates were recorded with native Dutch singers at Wise Buddah in London…
