*The Lost Exits* is a record about motion when certainty is gone. It’s about staying with the climb, missing the turn, taking the exit too early—or refusing to take it at all—and learning how to keep moving anyway. Across these songs, movement isn’t heroic or cinematic; it’s quiet, stubborn, and often reluctant. Forward motion happens in inches, not leaps.

The album lives in the emotional terrain of post-grunge, post-punk, and emo not as revival styles, but as languages of restraint and pressure. These are songs built on repetition, weight, and accumulation—hands on stone, feet on pavement, breath thinning, engines idling too long at red lights. The arrangements mirror that internal state: minimal structures that hold tension rather than release it, melodies that circle instead of resolve, collective vocals that feel like endurance rather than triumph.

Lyrically, *The Lost Exits* traces a path through grief, avoidance, responsibility, and repair. It looks at how people carry weight long after it stops being useful—receipts kept too long, scars mistaken for proof, obligations mistaken for identity. Several songs deal directly with the myth that suffering is a form of honesty, and with the slow unlearning of that belief. Others focus on constancy and care: keeping the lantern lit, staying when leaving would be easier, choosing to maintain something fragile in bad weather.

There’s no clean redemption arc here. Fear doesn’t disappear. Doubt stays loud. The horizon never quite arrives. What changes is the relationship to those things: learning how to put the weight down, how to let something fall, how to walk through a door even while shaking. The album treats resilience not as toughness, but as adaptability—bending without breaking, reshaping under pressure, becoming something quieter and stronger in the process.

The album is less interested in spectacle than in sincerity. These songs are structured around human limits: exhaustion, repetition, second-guessing, and the slow recalibration of hope. *The Lost Exits* isn’t about finding the right path—it’s about realizing that movement itself can be enough, even when you don’t know where the road ends.

Following the success of acclaimed track ”Some Other Dude”, London Alt Rock band 'Everywhere' have announced the release of their second EP ”Fiction Act” available on iTunes December 9. A pre-order of the EP comes with the ‘instant grat’ track “Heroine” as a free download. 

With a feature on BBC Introducing London and a million streams on Spotify, the lead single ”Some Other Dude” helped paving the way for the sophomore effort. ”’Some Other Dude’ allowed us to find a new direction that has clearly influenced the sound of our new EP” says the band that recently finished their first proper UK tour with stops in Brighton, Liverpool and Glasgow amongst others.

During the recording process the boys have divided their time between Stockholm, Los Angeles and London to collaborate with multiple producers, including American hit maker Mark Needham (The 1975, The Killers). 

Since their Hypemachine charting debut "Eddie", Eveywhere's music has been streamed millions of times on YouTube, Soundcloud and Spotify. They made their first International appearance at the 2013 NME Awards in the UK, playing alongside Django Django and Palma Violets, and later went on to support the Kaiser Chiefs and headline Notting Hill Arts Club in London. 

Notes for editor: On January 21 the band is confirmed to headline the Camden Rocks “All Dayer” at Proud in London.
