In its 4th installment, JIN, the Taipei, Taiwan-based label, continues its cosmic journey with a set of tracks that simmer between peak-time dance floor and early morning afterhours vibe. First upsee Bangkok's Siamese Twins mainstay Sunju Hargun, 1/2 of Mogambo, returning to JIN with two A-side tracks.

The first “Chale” is a modern ode to classic trance that will leave dancefloors from Bangkok to Berlin in ecstasy. His second track-フーイズカサンドラ("Who is Kassandra") is a post peak-time 7-minute acid bomb that spins and reverberates in every direction. 

The B-side features two remixes of “Chale”. First up, Barcelona's wunderkind Marc Pinol removes the trance needle and rebuilds the track creating a perfectly dubbed-our cosmic trip between musical galaxies. Finishing the E.P. Taipei's own Initials B.B. incorporates guitar samples turning the original into a futuristic, new wave-like slow burner that leaves one floating between planets.

For this 7th EP, we are lucky to have Mr. Ho back for another massive delivery. This time complete with fully versatile house music.

A1 “Burrow” storms out the gate with an acid attack. The spooky bassline, punchy drums, and acidic atmosphere makes this the complete peak time bomb. Then the EP smoothly roles into the A2, “TCB2”. A loopy, repetitive drum pattern that is guaranteed to feature for many on repeat mode.

For B1’s “Shoplift” Mr. Ho brings out the melody. This is a feel-good tune featuring an old school jungle-like drum pattern that makes this a great summer outdoor weapon. Finally, Mr. Ho's Klasse Wreck partner in crime Luca Lozano provides a silkier twist on “Shoplift” for a vinyl only remix.

This EP provides a whole spectrum of tools for house heads. Groovy, melodic, banging, or loopy, Mr. Ho has got them all covered.

JIN enters autumn with a familiar yet evolving sound. For our eighth release (JIN08), we are delighted to have Tokyo's house wizard, Gonno, make his long-awaited return to JIN with a full EP, after the still talked about JIN01 quintessential remix of Initials B.B.'s "Paradise Patterns".

For this release, Gonno delivers 3 astonishing tracks. A1 features Gonno’s trademark melodic house bomb. B1 is an instantly mind-blowing IDM 2-1-2 floor shaker. Then for B2, he brilliantly closes out the EP with a floating ambient tune.

JIN Podcast 04 welcomes Hokkaido’s OCCA with a recording of his set at last Wonderfruit’s Catch 428 stage, December 2023.

Inspired by the lush jungle of Thailand’s Chon Buri province where Wonderfruit Festival was held, OCCA set out to transform time, space, and spirit, and bring dancers into unknown realms. Throughout this two hour expedition, OCCA draws from the spiritualism of psychedelic music, the storytelling nature of house music, and the sci-fi dystopian feel of Detroit techno, and deftly blends it all together into a three-dimensional, out of body experience.

Taipei Taiwan's brand new label 禁 (JIN) makes a strong impression with compilation like debut. Kick starting with Initials B.B. On A1 - A Trancy house classic layered with floating melody reminiscent of traveling through the wilderness with breeze, while Tokyo's one n only Gonno's A2 remix puts 909 into full force. Stomping kick drum makes this cut a lethal weapon for late night utopia on any dance floors.  

B1 takes a drastic turn to the other spectrum of Taipei underground. It is also a record label, hailing from Taipei, Taiwan.

The label aims to not only introduce Taipei's local talents but also connect with the secret gems in Asia's fast-rising production field while providing an injection of colorful international producer juice that can morph the various local elements into an unpredictable futuristic 4/4 sound, in a way foreshadowing what Asia is moving towards.
