"The Only Way Out Is Through" comprises 10 ethereal tracks that sway with rhythmic precision from Argentine producer Jin Yerei, marking his debut on his recently created label “Awesome Tapes from Munro”.

Renowned globally for his key role in the Argentinian futuristic folklore scene, Jin Yerei has been at the forefront of pushing the Latin American sound further for the past few years. Born and nurtured in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jin Yerei seamlessly intertwines the rich musical history of Latin America with a modern viewpoint. His previous works often drew inspiration from the natural elements: The warmth of the sun and the whisper of Patagonian winds set the mood for his prior album “Foráneo Cálido Pasmoso”, with the vast southern lakes and mountains serving as a sonic backdrop.

Now, with "The Only Way Out Is Through", listeners are introduced to ethereal melodies reminiscent of outer space landscapes.

"Ojos Blancos", accompanied by a video made by Argentine director Rafael Vodovosoff, showcases post-dubstep rhythms seamlessly integrated with futuristic bass, leading to an auditory juxtaposition that's both nostalgic and avant-garde.

The following song, Falando Dos Mortos, is a result of collaboration between Awesome Tapes from Munro's head Jin Yerei and argentinian virtuoso Kona. The second one of these two once bumped into JY's studio and started playing Brazilian/Arabic melodies on the guitar - this became a starting point of the track which eventually turned into a danceable composition with oriental melodies that were recorded entirely through one day only.

Hablando de los muertos (feat. Kona)

Jin Yerei presents a new single, made of a version of Babasónicos ‘Zumba’ originally covered by Juampi Dicesare, a Mendoza based musician with a vast background on the indie folk Argentinian scene.

This single continues the organic folktronica music line which was present on the album Jin Yerei released on February through Fértil Discos, although it is more close to a danceable beat to be played at dancefloors or open places.

‘Zumba’ will also kickstart Jin Yerei’s Europe Tour, which will take him through different cities with El Remolón (ZZK / Fértil). 

Jin Yerei presenta a modo de single una reversión, hecho del track ‘Zumba’ originalmente compuesto por Babasónicos  y luego versionado por Juampi Dicesare, músico mendocino con una vasta trayectoria en el ámbito del indie folk argentino.

El single continúa la línea de la folktrónica orgánica propuesta en el disco de Jin Yerei lanzado en Febrero por el sello Fértil Discos,  pero acentúa el beat bailable para poder ser incluido en pistas de clubs como en otros ambientes más distendidos.

Este single da pie al inicio de la gira de Jin Yerei por Europa, que lo llevará por diferentes ciudades del Viejo Mundo junto a El Remolón.

This song is a mashup from a song called "Kurd Sheperd Melody" from G. I. Gurdjieff and Thomas de Haartman, and some icaro I've found on Soulseek from a user I don't really remember.

About cultural appropiation: Yes, I've done it. This is unrespectful. But the thing is, when I started to merge this two songs together, one from Perú and the other from Eastern Europe, both connected instantly. It was like love at first listen.
