The fortieth installment of The Playground Collection!

It's been sometime, however, the wait is worth it! After spotlighting @TokyoAve in Vol. 34 (another one very soon), I decided to do my first artist spotlight with @DestinLaurel! 

I first heard of Destin almost two years ago and have been a fan since! I put some of his songs in Vol. 38, but decided to dedicate a whole mix to his sound. Don’t even think he’s 20 and I'm amazed by his talent and shoutout to his team, they on to something! He brings a different sound, a revolutionary sound even, to Atlanta (that we desperately need) and I'm excited to see where he takes this. This mix is comprised of several singles, EP's and loosies that he has shared. I wanted to put him in a box and call it "Y&B", but can't ... don't even want to categorize him. My idea was to tell a story, create a cohesive album or even a set-list for a concert of his music to give his dynamic sound a cinematic feel. I hope you can follow along.

From his Twitter (X), he is about to drop a 12-song album "Mercy" to my knowledge. Consider this the intro to that album.
