About one year after our Vol. 2, clubs and dancing bars were closed again in France. This sad news made us decide to launch again our Edits series, slightly renaming it “Paradise edits”. Fortunately, the good contacts we made through the last year helped us pulling together this new compilation quite fast. First, we had the Brooklyn duo Fundido, part of Earth Beat crew, with whom we had been chatting for quite a while and talked many times about having an edit from then. Then, we asked Sputnik, a DJ from Moscow to join, as we were enchanted by his work for That’s A Steal and his release on Gop Tun records earlier this year. A few days later, Nicolas Kotowicz, another Russian artist, contacted us to share his edit and we thought he would be a perfect addition to the comp. Finally, Latane introduced us to Lloyd with a bunch of edits and we were very keen to include him too.
Here’s the result of their works and a few questions we asked them about their stories and their approach to edits.

Our second release of the label is finally here and this time we decided to share the experience with some producers we enjoy listening and dancing to. @aaronmaple from the awesome crew @freeshelter, @baerlz the mastermind behind La Bestiole and @stimarecords and the London based serial editers @runninghotmusic.

Embracing the good vibe of the afro, ethnic and tropical scenes, this new volume of the Jitter Edits series represents a crisp union of sound and energy. Following the imprint of our parties.

After 2 years & being played by infamous names such as The Blessed Madonna, Horse Meat Disco, Tim Sweeney, Carista, Peach, Orpheu The Wizard, Ben UFO, Rune Lindbaek, Dicky Trisco, Double Dancer and the list goes on… Canto Club is back!

From party people with shoulder pads, big hair, white Rolls-Royces, panama hats, the Fragrant Harbour that is Hong Kong had a very unique Hotel / Clubbing scene before places like DD’s, Canton Disco and Hot Gossip opened their doors.

These Discotheques were a place of creativity, panache and mischief of the era. They were all destinations of desire.

For this edition, we have a special duo called Running Hot which is making waves on the web for digging obscure gems alongside our head honcho RFX. This compilation of 8 edits from the harbor.
We have lots of glitter in this one and the usual funky percussive grooves very unique to Cantonese music.

There’s a track for everyone in this compilation.

A sultry, proto-house number with lyrics reminiscent of early 80s boogie, and a rhythm section conjuring that golden 90s aesthetic.

This is the lead track from a small compilation of edits of tracks we discovered over the summer. 

When the recent conflict broke out between Israel & Gaza, we felt uncomfortable promoting some random edits we made from the safety of our bedrooms when so many people are suffering.

All proceeds from the sale of these edits will go to Save the Children Gaza and to Save the Children Ukraine, who are operating to help those most at need during these tough times.
