► BIO:

Emerging on the global electronic scene in late 2019, the Far&High project has made a big impact on today's Indie Dance scene from its first tracks. Solomun not only released the project's first release on his label Diynamic, but also named them subsequently as one of the most important electronic projects of their country. 

All of the tracks released by Far&High made it to the Beatport top-100, which allowed the project to hit the Best Sellers category 4 years in a row starting in 2020. The lead track from their first release on Diynamic, Alone, stayed in the top for over two years in a row. In late 2022, Far&High releases their track, Sans Vetements, which instantly climbs to the very top of Beatport and remains at the top even in 2024. The lead track from their second release on Diynamic Mannequin stayed in the chart for over 210 days, while their collab track with Brigado Crew - 7 - for the album on the Stil Vor Talent label - stayed at the top for over 320 consecutive days.

Each of their tracks is a new challenge and a desire to show a slightly different sound, different from what has been done before, while keeping the recognizable imprint of the author. This has always given Far&High a huge support not only among ordinary listeners but also from professionals and very famous DJs.

Manchester (UK) based Mazayr has always felt a deep connection to music. Experimenting with electronic music for well over a decade, his passion for creativity stems from much earlier as a keen drummer in his youth. This love for rhythm naturally translated to dance music and birthed a tireless focus on finding his own sound as a music producer. Mazayr’s sound has arrived at a blend of emotional, uplifting and melancholic melodies, intertwined with punchy, solid grooves. Influences come from an eclectic mix of genres and as an artist his tracks are built to stand the test of time. His style has earned him debuts on labels such as The Purr, Cigarette Music and Canopy Sounds, with more exciting projects already in the pipeline. As a DJ, Mazayr has frequented various venues across Manchester, including Pangaea Festival and the infamous Sankeys nightclub. In 2019, he began hosting events and a mix series under the Right Frequency banner to showcase melodic house music.

Playing back-to-back with another DJ is a skill few people have. And we're not talking one-upping the other Dj with tunes they can't follow, we're talking about Djs that feed off each other’s tunes, energy and vibe to create a hands up, heads down affair. Jixo and Danz have made a career out of it, as the two Daniels (Jahed and Azar) work in tandem dropping everything from sunset deep house, Minimal tech, Indie dance, Afro to peak time Melodic and techno.

They've had the pleasure of sharing the decks for DJ heavyweights like Solomun, Black Coffee, Adriatique, Tale of Us, Marco Carola, Micheal Bibi,Jamie Jones, Sven Vath, Luciano, Ame, Carl Cox, Nina Kravitz, Maceo Plex, Bedouin, Adam Beyer and Dixon. Regularly playing to thousands in big festivals and well known underground clubs every weekend such as Terra Solis (Tomorrowland), Elrow, Untold and Ibiza Global Festival, Techno & Chill festival. They’ve also played underground bastions of cool back in Beirut, their home city, including The Basement, Ahm, The Grand Factory, Uberhaus, The Garten, Five Island Festival and converted bomb-shelter club, BO18.

Jixo (Daniel Jahed) and Danz (Daniel Azar) have been child hood friends since school, with the tight-knit bond continuing into their first pub, bar and club gigs. Amazingly considering their packed DJ schedule, the DJ duo both work full time in Dubai’s thriving media industry. It hasn’t stopped them from taking international bookings, however, with Jixo & Danz having worked dancefloors as far-flung as Ibiza, Bali, Croatia, Thailand, Malaysia and Egypt.

Musically, they’ve always positioned themselves at the deeper, groovier end of the house spectrum known for their trademark super-smooth sets, but are equally as comfortable taking it up a notch and dropping a tech-house and techno masterclass when needed. And with their back-to-back energy and peerless selection guaranteed at every gig, Jixo and Danz are proving that two heads (and four hands) is better than one.
