An artist undeniably in a purple patch following releases via Dungeon Meat, Vatos Locos, Dark Side Of The Sun and his debut album ‘Square One’ on Up The Stuss, Utrecht’s Locklead continues to flourish as one of the Netherlands’ hottest emerging house talents. Showing no signs of slowing down, his next release provides another signal of intent as he heads to FUSE sister imprint LOCUS for the first time. Following multiple appearances for the label at their London showcases, he now unveils four diverse and expansive offerings showcasing his far-reaching sound across his ‘Blue Monday’ EP.

A track that’s been the subject of ID requests for months, title cut ‘Blue Monday’ kicks things off in style as infectious vocals and spiralling synths go to work above a wormhole of a bassline to provide a peak-time cut already proven to work dancefloors. ‘Join The Tribe’ leans on tight rolling grooves guided by crisp organic drums licks, rumbling low-ends and off-kilter samples, while ‘Orbiting’ is a spacey journey into the late night hours. To close, Locklead takes things deeper as he layers rich chords, swinging drums and hazy vocals across a classy house effort to wrap up proceedings.

"Salzburg-born Demuja has previously released his smoky and soulful House music on the likes of Freerange Records, Toy Tonics, and Shall Not Fade, and his own MUJA imprint. On his latest EP, he cooks up four tracks comprising the many different moods of House, effortlessly crafting another timeless set of tracks. 

Opening cut 'Work My Body' sees supersized chords and hi-hats fuse for an emotionally raw and intense House track that will kick-start any party. 'Deep Inside Your Soul' follows, a warm track with deep, dubby kicks and washed-out late-night pads, topped off with a gorgeous vocal while elastic bass and snappy hits provide the perfect finishing touches. 

'Bonzai', a collaboration with Cologne-based PIV and Berg Audio associate Kolter, channels Chicago with its rasping analogue basslines and razor-sharp percussion before a lush breakdown leads into super classy territories. 'Piano Track' closes proceedings with dusty drums and wonky chords making for a tense and paranoid yet totally driving affair."

First release of elrow Limited in 2021 is delivered by Artmann, one of the rising Dutch talents focused in new minimal and deep house sound. Three original huge tracks signed by the Amsterdam boy and an amazing remix made in London by James Dexter is what you can find in 'Keep The Funk Alive EP'.

'Only Us' opens the release with delicated stabs and dub deep house feelings. James Dexter keeps the spirit of the track but with a twist, making the track deeper and powerful. 'Keep The Funk Alive' is a groovy track with several musical layers going into something full of lightness and happiness. Last but not least we have 'Love Me Good', where a Moog bassline and a piano solo leads the track.
