PLM MUSIC REVUE - LIVE FROM NYC

The PLM Music Revue is the brainchild of JJ Appleton (guitar/vocals) and Thad DeBrock (guitar), two Brooklyn based music virtuosos.   
As NYC struggled with Covid 19, the duo asked what they could do for their city, and saw it as their civic duty to hit the streets and play music for people to bring joy and relief to a difficult situation.   It needs to be said that Appleton and DeBrock are no ordinary buskers.  Between the two of them they have played on tours and recordings with the likes of David Bowie, David Byrne, Darius Rucker, Graham Nash, St. Vincent, Josh Groban, Keb Mo, Judy Collins and Nelly.

In addition to entertaining outdoor crowds with soulful, devastating blues/soul music from the bed of Appleton’s pick up truck, the pair took on the opportunity to raise thousands of dollars for The Campaign Against Hunger in Brooklyn.  Reminding their outdoor audiences that this was also an opportunity to come together and donate to their neighbors who are struggling to feed their families.
What started as an impromptu public jam session, has turned into a legitimate covid-safe live music event for good,  with a following and an upcoming live album release in early 2021
