Within its waters intertwine the mists of morning forests and the golden glow of sunset peaks. Sometimes it rushes forward with fierce strength, breaking through stones and rapids; sometimes it calms in crystal pools, as if listening to its own rhythm. Its flow unites two elements — ice and sun, sky and earth — creating a harmony that reflects the very essence of Altai. The Katun has inspired travelers and artists, served as a path for merchants, and become a sacred place for those seeking answers.
