Todays premiere is DJ FLP's up beat remix of "There is no time," a melodic club jam full of nostalgia, dreamy chords, and beats that touch upon the heart of club music. The record reflects on the physicality and spirituality of sound, the pursuit of new ways of feeling, and the disparity between euphoric communal experiences and our retreat into pleasures experienced alone, in states of uncertainty and imminent collapse. 

Following recent collabs and remixes with Loraine James (Hyperdub) and DJ Earl (Teklife /Moveltraxx), the Croatian / British artist has been making waves with his EPs getting support across Rinse FM and NTS radio, in Boiler Rooms and Crack / RA mixes from
Kode9, Object Blue, Anz, India Jordan, Jossy

Between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK-wide network distributed 1.3 million food parcels to people facing hardship – this is an increase of 52% compared to the same period in 2019. Half a million of these parcels were distributed to children. The charity says that for the first time, need for emergency food is outstripping donations as the cost of living emergency is leading to a drastic increase in the number of people turning to food banks for support. 

With this situation being more urgent than ever, Vief are delighted to announce their 2nd charity compilation will be raising funds for the Trussell Trust. Not only providing incredibly vital, immediate support to people facing hardship, the charity also works tirelessly towards the goal of ending the need for food bank in the UK. 

Spanning genres and tempos, reticulation stands as the label’s most ambitious project to date, and owes its thanks to the immense talent and generosity of the 20 producers involved.

Here's a tasty UKG edit of a Wiley classic from Scotland-based DJ and producer YTP. Released on Friday 13th November this track is part of Gimme A Break Records' WE ARE VIABLE Compilation. Working with 15 producers from Leeds and further afield, GAB have created an album of UKG, breakbeat, techno and jungle edits. All of the proceeds from this compilation will be donated to MAP, a Leeds-based charity providing alternative music education to young people who cannot access mainstream schooling. In these trying times, we must support charities such as MAP which are integral to the North's creativity and vibrant music scene.
